STV Visa Will not be Extendable After 30 SEP 2021

In the Last couple of Days, It was announced on several Thai embassies’ Websites that the STV (Special Tourist Visa) will not be extendable after the 30th of September 2021. Originally, The Special Tourist Visa was allowing its Holders to Stay in Thailand for 90 Days and to extend their Stay twice for 90 days Each (Total Maximum Stay Duration of 270 days = 9 months).

The Latest announcement states that the last possible extension that can be made for Special Tourist Visa Holders will be on the 30th of September, Therefore, The latest that a Special Tourist visa Holder can Stay in Thailand will be 90 days after the 30th of September which is the 28th of December.

The Below Message was also Stated on the Thai Embassy website in London:

“Please do not apply for STV after 30 JUNE 2021 and applicants must arrive in Thailand before 3July 2021 if they wish to extend their Stay after 90 days. Application to extend their Stay in Thailand must be submitted before 30 September 2021.**”
