In addition to That, The Thai Government has also approved the proposal of Extending the Allowed Stay Duration of Tourists Coming under the Visa exemption Scheme and the Visa on arrival Scheme.
For Tourists Coming under the Visa Exemption Scheme, they will be allowed to Stay in The Kingdom for 45 Days (Instead of 30 days), and will be able to extend their Stay in Thailand with an additional 30 days from an Immigration Office.
For Tourists Coming under the Visa on arrival Scheme, They will be allowed to Stay in Thailand for 30 Days (Instead of Originally 15 Days).
The Visa Validity Extension is one of the tactics that the Tourism Authority of Thailand is using to increase the Tourists’ Spending by allowing them to Stay more which will result in more Spending for Accommodation, Consumption,..etc
