Bophut Beach is one of the most famous Beaches in Koh Samui Island. It is Located around 10 minutes Drive from Samui Airport, 15 minutes Drive from Chaweng Beach and Around 20 minutes Drive from Nathon Pier. The Beach is Located in the northern Part of the Island. it is around 2.5 Kilometers Long.

Shopping at Bophut Beach Koh Samui

There are Several Local Shopping experiences that you can explore in Bophut Beach area. The most famous one is The Fisherman’s Village walking Street. This Place turns into a Lively Night Market Starting from 5:00 PM until 11:00 PM at Night every friday. You can find a Lot of Interesting Stuff in there to buy such as Local Souvenirs, Handicrafts, and Some Fashion and Accessories’ Products.

In Addition, The wharf Samui can also be a Good decision for enjoying Shopping at Bophut area. This Place is a mix between a Shopping mall and a Local Market. It operates from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Sundays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Another Shopping Place that you can visit when being in Bophut is The Elephant Walk. It is a small Night Market that opens daily. It is not a Big Shopping area, However, it is nice for a light Souvenirs Shopping Experience.

Best Things to do at Bophut area

Samui Big Buddha

This Big Buddha Statue, also known as “Wat Phra Yai” was built in 1972, and is considered to be one of Koh samui’s Most popular attractions.

Koh Samui Crocodile Farm

Another thing that you can enjoy at Bophut is watching a Crocodile Show performance. This Show Operates daily from 12:00 to 17:00 where you can enjoy watching Crocodule and Snake Shows. It is very Similar to the Ones operating around Bangkok and Pattaya. If you have already Visited one in there then you wont need to visit it again unless you really like the show and Want to watch it for a second time.

Samui Go Kart

Take out Some adrenaline and try the Samui Go Kart Experience. This Go Kart offers three types of Karts, one For Children, another one for Beginner adults and the last one for Professional and Experienced adults. It operates daily from 9:00 AM Till 9:00 PM.

Fully recommanded Royal Vacation arranged all the necessary paperwork needed to travel to Thailand, I purchased a sandbox package for Phuket , I didn't have to worry about anything, I would highly recommend using them. Included in my package was Thailand Pass, covid insurance, transport from airport to Hotel (Grand Mercure in Phuket wa s extraordinary) for a week and, pcr test..
