We’ve explored countless cafes across Bangkok during our time curating tours and experiences for Royal Vacation and we can confidently say this city has become one of Asia’s most exciting destinations for cafe culture. From luxury fashion house cafes to hidden botanical retreats and tropical escapes that make you forget you’re in the middle of a bustling city, Bangkok’s cafe scene keeps surprising us. We’ve personally visited each spot on this list, camera in hand and coffee in the other, to bring you the ones truly worth your time.

Bubble In The Forest

Also referred to as a “mini Maldives”, visiting Bubble in the Forest feels like stepping into a little escape from Bangkok. The whole concept here is these wooden bungalow-style structures built over water, complete with swings, hammocks, and transparent bubble domes that make you feel like you are in a tropical resort. Every corner is worth taking a photo of — from the Queen’s chair and balloon display to the chalet-style bubbles, kiosks, and the two-storey house overlooking the water. We think this is an especially romantic evening spot that will be ideal for those looking for a couples evening out. For the most striking photos, head up to the café’s second level. From this point, you can capture the entire layout, the bridge stretching across the water, the unique seating, and the boat houses, all in a single shot.
The menu focuses on Thai dishes that are as fun to eat as they are to look at, fried rice with shrimp and egg, crispy chicken wings, and clay-pot dishes cooked over charcoal. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and even though prices are higher than usual, it matches the experience. The café gets busy, so booking ahead is a good idea, especially if you want to take your time and enjoy both the food and the atmosphere.
After The Rain Coffee & Gallery

After the Rain Coffee & Gallery was one of the most memorable café visits we had near Bangkok and easily earns its place among the city’s most Instagrammable spots. The café is set along quiet water channels surrounded by greenery, with small cabanas where you can sit, relax, and feed the fish. After ordering, the staff give you a number for the paddle boat ride, which is included when you spend at the café. You drive the boat yourself through the canals, and the staff are happy to help take photos and videos, which makes the experience even more special.
The menu focuses on light dishes, desserts, and drinks, and everything we tried was excellent — the sesame tofu, sweetcorn soup, honey toast, coconut cake, and desserts all stood out. Service was friendly and unhurried, and there are even more private seating areas suitable for families. The café closes around 6:30 PM, so arriving too late can feel rushed; allowing a couple of hours in the late afternoon is ideal to enjoy the food, the boats, and the setting at a relaxed pace.
Louis Vuitton Cafe Bangkok

The Louis Vuitton Café in Bangkok is a must-visit for anyone looking for a glamorous café experience in Bangkok. The moment you enter, the space exudes the brand’s hallmark sophistication, with every detail — from the surroundings to the desserts — thoughtfully curated to reflect elegance and refinement.
The desserts were the true standout for us — they are so beautifully presented they look like small works of art that you will definitely want to photograph. Our true food highlight is the caviar waffle, often referred to as deliciously and appropriately indulgent. Other favorites include the pistachio cake and rich hot chocolate, all reflecting careful attention to quality and detail. We’ve noticed that guests also appreciate the attentive service, with staff happy to assist with photos.
For an extra layer to the experience, the café offers access to the Louis Vuitton Visionary Journey exhibition, showcasing both historic and contemporary pieces exclusive to the Bangkok location. With its refined atmosphere, desserts that look like art, and photogenic spaces, this café stands out as one of the most Instagrammable spots in the city. Reservations are recommended well in advance, as spots are limited.
Dior Cafe Bangkok

At Dior Café Bangkok, we experienced a quiet, elegant escape from the city. The interior combines lush botanical gardens with French luxury and Thai artistry. What really caught our attention inside was this incredible bamboo installation – the bamboo is shaped into flowers and animals that practically crawl up the walls using traditional Thai techniques, and it photographs amazingly well. The furniture throughout feels distinctly Dior, mixing their classic style with local craftsmanship, and there’s plenty of natural light coming through which makes everything look great on camera.
In our experience, however, the desserts are what truly make the café stand out, everything is carefully plated and visually striking, making for memorable photos. We especially recommend the Dior Signature Cake, a mocha-hazelnut sponge with chocolate glaze and raspberry. It is also a great spot to truly pay attention to detail, like the beautiful latte art and small details in architecture. For the best shots, we suggest sitting by the windows, which provide excellent light and a clear view of the café’s layout. We recommend visiting in the late afternoon, when the light is soft and the atmosphere is calmer.
The Cassette Coffee Bar Bangkok

The Cassette Coffee Bar is a hidden gem near Siam Square that instantly impresses with its endlessly pink-filled design. Walking through the revolving doors feels like entering a luxurious yet relaxed space, making you feel like you just walked into an 80s hotel lobby, fully decorated in shades of pink from the ceiling to the chairs to the coffee makers.
The combination of thoughtfully selected décor, vibrant colors, and incredible attention to detail makes The Cassette Coffee Bar one of Bangkok’s most photogenic cafés. Here, you can easily spend an afternoon capturing the perfect Instagram shots. Every corner of the café, inside and out, offers a perfect photo opportunity, and paying attention to the details, like the pink espresso machine or curved paneling, can make for creative and fun shots.
We recommend trying the Young Coconut Cake, soft and layered with fresh coconut for a slightly chewy texture, and pairing it with a drink such as the Chocolate After Two, a mix of chocolate milk and strawberry puree, to match the café’s colors. Drinks like the Orange Latte are also well prepared and highly recommended.
Natura Cafe Bangkok

This hidden gem transports visitors into what feels like a tropical forest sanctuary, it is ideal for photography and nature lovers. The café sits right by the Dao Khanong canal, and in our experience, the combination of lush greenery, wooden walkways, and orchard-style seating truly makes it feel like a mini escape from Bangkok’s noisy and busy streets.
We recommend coming earlier in the day so you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere before it gets busy. Every corner is photogenic — from shady tree-covered tables to the canal-front spots — giving plenty of opportunities for creative shots.
We particularly enjoyed the French-style Thai desserts and the freshly made cakes, which were as delicious as they were beautiful, and the homemade-style drinks added a refreshing touch. On our visit, it felt like a true urban oasis, a place where you can slow down, soak in nature, and capture some great photos.
Floral Cafe at Napasorn

At Floral Café at Napasorn, we were immediately enchanted by the creativity and care in every detail. Located on the second floor of a working flower shop, you walk through the shop where floral arrangements are being prepared before climbing a narrow, quirky staircase filled with vintage items and antique treasures. Fresh flowers fill every corner, vintage furniture gives the interior a cozy feel, and you can tell that a lot of thought and care has been poured into this cafe. There’s even a resident cat who adds extra charm to your photos. We particularly love the window seats on the second floor—perfect for capturing that soft sunlight filtering through while you enjoy their famous macadamia cheesecake or lemon curd cheesecake (both are seriously good).
We also highly recommend trying the ice cream, with creative flavors you won’t find anywhere else, as well as the specialty coffees and teas, all beautifully presented. Every detail, from the eclectic décor to the carefully arranged flowers, feels intentional and photogenic, making it one of the most unique and Instagrammable cafés in Bangkok. Cash is the only payment option, so recommend you plan ahead.
Rolling Roasters Bangkok

We think Rolling Roasters absolutely earns its place among Bangkok’s most Instagrammable cafes. The atmosphere here is industrial chic combined with cozy coffee haven. What we really love is the industrial aesthetic with old weathered wood mixed with metallic accents—it photographs beautifully and makes for an interesting space.
The transparent roasting area is another highlight; seeing the actual equipment and green coffee beans adds genuine character to your shots. Here you will also find beautiful designs on the drinks that are really worth paying attention to.
We recommend exploring both levels for different perspectives—downstairs has that bustling energy and architectural drama, while upstairs offers views of the roasting operations below and quieter corners if you want a more relaxed backdrop. Beyond being photogenic, the coffee is legitimately excellent (try their house blend), and their almond croissants and cheesecakes are worth ordering.
Wallflowers Cafe

In our experience, visitors here often feel like they entered a secret garden in the middle of the city. When you first arrive you pass through a flower shop then climb up these steep stairs decorated with old-fashioned lamps and potted plants, already great for Instagram before you even get to the cafe itself.
The whole place spans three floors in this century-old building, and every corner has a different personality. There’s natural light streaming in, plants and flowers everywhere, vintage furniture mixed with quirky decorations, and this warm, creative energy that makes you want to just absorb and take it all in. What really stands out here are the cakes, decorated with fruits and flowers in gorgeous colors. The Dark Beer Cake is a favorite we recommend. The coffee is great too, freshly brewed with quality beans, and if you’re feeling adventurous, try the Le Boissom De Kanda—it’s a carbonated espresso with fruity notes that’s surprisingly refreshing.
There’s also a rooftop bar upstairs called Wallflowers Upstairs with dimly-lit seating and views over Chinatown, ideal for watching the sunset if you visit later in the day. Every floor offers different photo opportunities—from the spiral staircase entrance to the botanical-filled seating areas. It’s one of those spots where the atmosphere and aesthetics are just as important as what you’re eating, and it all comes together perfectly.
Whether you’re drawn to the luxury of Dior and Louis Vuitton, the botanical charm of Floral Cafe and Natura, or the playful tropical escape of Bubble In The Forest, there’s truly something here for every taste and photography style. These spots prove you don’t have to choose between Instagram-worthy spaces and actually great experiences, Bangkok delivers both.
At Royal Vacation DMC, we love incorporating these unique cafe experiences into custom Bangkok itineraries, balancing them with timing that gets you the best lighting and smaller crowds. If you’re planning a trip and want to hit all the right spots, we’re here to help make it happen.
