There has been around 650 Rooms Booked in Koh Samui island in 3 Days after the Launch of The 7+7 Model. The Tourism Authorities and associations see this number as a Satisfactory Number, and there are proposal to Make Koh Samui Airport as a Direct Destinations for Russian Flights soon.

Samui Plus has received 431 Tourists as of the 24th of August. Most of the Arrivals have Continued their second 7 Nights in Koh Samui in a SHA PLUS Hotel. 34 Have continued the Journey in Koh Phangan and 22 Continued in Koh Tao. Tourism Operators are Requesting to reduce the Cost of the Testing and Other requirements as they reach around 15,000 THB Per person, which is the main obstacle that makes potential Tourists not to consider coming to the destination. As of August, only 35% Of the Tourism Workers in Koh Samui are Still employed. Many Hotels Decided to not Reopen Yet until the restrictions become Eased and more demand to be existing.

Phangnga Reopening:
Phangnga Is hoping to receive 30,000 arrivals generating around 2.5 Billion THB in the 4th Quarater of 2021 under the 7+7 Extension Model.The Province is Expecting to receive 5,000 Travellers in The month of Septmber.
Phangnga Already has 75 Hotels SHA PLUS Certified, however, only only 25% of them Decided to Open Since the Extension Model has been launched, and the Rest is Planning to Reopen by Quarter 4.
