Full Day tour to Chiang Rai temples & Karen Village

Pick up from the Hotel Lobby in the Early morning in Chiang Mai after enjoying breakfast at 7:00 AM to proceed to Chiang Rai in about 3 hours Scenic Drive.

On the way, Stop at Mae Kachan Hot Spring and see how locals use the hosting to boil the eggs. 

Arrive at Chiang Rai and your first stop will be at the White Temple, Locally known as Wat Rong Khun. It is a stunning contemporary Buddhist temple known for its unique white design, embellished with glass and symbols blending traditional spiritual motifs with modern artistic elements. It’s one of the most beautiful temples around Thailand. 

After enjoying your time at the white temple, proceed to The Blue Temple in Chiang Rai, a visually striking and contemporary Buddhist temple, famous for its vivid blue coloring and intricate carvings that create a serene and mystical atmosphere.

After enjoying your time exploring the Blue temple, head to a local Thai restaurant to Savor a delicious Northern Thai Lunch. 

After Lunch, head to the Black House, (Locally Known as Baan Dam Museum. It’s an art exhibit, showcasing a collection of traditional Thai houses painted in black, filled with a variety of artworks and artifacts that reflect the artist Thawan Duchanee's unique and often dark artistic vision.

Proceed to The Karen Hill Tribe Village Where you can learn about the traditional lifestyle and unique customs of the Karen people, known for their distinctive textiles and the famous long-neck women adorned with brass neck rings.

After enjoying your time at Karen Village, Proceed back to Chiang Mai in a 3 hours scenic drive.

Arrive back to Chiang Mai and transfer to your hotel - End of the tour.
