Wat Pho Bangkok also known as the temple of the reclining Buddha is one of the most famous temples in Thailand. The Reclining Buddha is the Main and most famous attraction at Wat Pho temple. The Statue of the Reclining Buddha is So huge, around 15 meters Long and 15 meters tall.

Things you should know about Wat Pho

  • Before Entering the Temple, you will have to take your shoes off.
  • At the Entrance of the Hall, there are bowls of coins for sale. You can purchase some and drop them next to the wall to bring Good Luck for yourself. However these money are collected to help the Monks renovate and take care of the temple.
  • it Opens every day from 8:30 AM in the morning until 6:30 PM in the Evening.
  • You have to be dressed Properly before Going to the Wat Pho temple as it is considered to be one of the most sacred Places in Thailand, Same as the Grand Palace. This Means that you should not be wearing Shorts, Short Sleeve Tops,.. etc.
