Surin Island is a National Park located in Phangnga province north of Phuket. This island is one of the best locations for Snorkeling and diving in Thailand and the world. The National park consists of 5 islands located just about 18 kilometers from the Water borders between Thailand and Myanmar.
The island is not close to Phuket, the distance between both islands is about 180 Kilometers. That’s quiet far, if compared with Phi Phi island which is located just around 45 kilometers away from Phuket.
There are boat trips operating daily during the High season to Surin island from Phuket. The National park is closed during the raining season (The exact timeframe differs from a year to another depending on the weather conditions). However, usually it’s between May and October.
