Updated Required Documents for STV

The required Documents for STV (Special Tourist Visa) Thailand has been updated on the 9th of November. It is not required anymore to Show a Bank Statement with at least 500,000 Thai baht (Or Equivalent). 

However, Passengers have to book and Confirm Semi Commercial Flights Flying to Thailand. These flights should be after 30 November to Get the STV Visa Approval on time

In Addition, ASQ (Alternative State Quarantine) Booking for 15 Nights should be made and Paid with an amount not less than 38,000 Thai Baht. And, The Booking and Payment of Post Quarantine Accommodation is required with an amount not less than 20,000 Thai Baht. (In case of Apartment ownership, Please check this Article)

A Travel and medical insurance is required as well, with a minimum 100,000 USD Coverage for Coronavirus medical treatment and a minimum coverage of 400,000THB IPD medical and accident expenses and 40,000THB for OPD medical and accident expenses. The Insurance Should Cover at Least 90 Days. In addition, The Insurance Should be purchased through A local insurance Thai Company approved by the Government (Foreign Countries’ Insurance Packages will not be accepted)
