“Thailand Removes Quarantine”. The Thailand CCSA (Center for COVID Situation administration), has announced Today, The 22nd of April, The new Rules for Entry to Thailand that are going to be applied from 1 May onwards for international Arrivals.
From 1 May, The Test and Go Scheme for entry to Thailand (1 Day Quarantine and Required PCR Test Upon arrival), will no longer be required for Vaccinated Travelers arriving to the Kingdom from Overseas. The Tourists will only need to have a Pre Purchased Insurance covering 10,000 USD For COVID 19 (used to be 20,000 USD) , and a Valid Vaccine Proof showing that he/She is fully vaccinated in order to be able to apply for the Thailand Pass and get approval for Traveling to Thailand. it’s also Suggested to do a Rapid antigen Test during the Stay in Thailand.
There will be 2 Lanes for International arrivals in Thailand Airports, The first one is For Vaccinated Guests who are not required for any sort of quarantine, and the Second Lane will be for the Unvaccinated Guests who will still need to have a 5 Days AQ Booking and Pre departure Negative PCR Test

This Decision has already been approved by the Thailand CCSA (Center for COVID Situation administration) and is waiting for Final Approval by the Royal Thai Gazette (Expected to be within the end of this Week)
After nearly 2 years of Border closure and entry restrictions for Traveling to Thailand, The Reopening has finally taken place on 1 May which is a Great News for all the tourism Operators in Thailand and the Tourists interested in traveling to Thailand this Year.
The Thailand Pass is Expecting to have some errors and bugs while applying starting from 1 May due to the Updates and the modifications in the System to meet the new imposed requirements and rules about easing the restrictions.
