It was just announced on the 19th of March that 10 Days Quarantine will be applied for Tourists arriving to Thailand from the 1st of APRIL 2021. This will not be applied for Tourists traveling from African Countries and the UK due to fears from the New Virus Mutations.
At the Start, the Proposal was to apply 7 days Quarantine for Vaccinated Tourists and 10 Days for Non Vaccinated. However, It was only accepted the 10 days Proposal for All arrivals No Matter whether they are Vaccinated or not.
The 10 Days ASQ Packages will Still Include 2 COVID tests required on Day 3 or 5 and Day 9 or 10. Tourists will Still need to Purchase an eligible Travel insurance Package covering the COVID 19 Treatment expenses and Covering their Visa Period in Thailand.
It was also announced that this will be Implemented from the 1st of April until the 30th of June. The Authorities by that time will be Studying whether the 7 days quarantine plan will be Implemented on the 1st of July or Not.
They also expect that from the 1st of October, The Kingdom will open up its borders with No Quarantine Required for Vaccinated tourists coming from Low Risk Countries (The List of Low risk Countries is to be updated by that Time).
