Koh Samui Sealed Route
12 JUNE: The Tour Operators in Koh Samui made a proposal asking that the Koh Samui Sealed Route to be opened starting from the First of July same as the Phuket Sandbox. The Proposal has already been Sent to the Centre for COVID-19 situation Administration (CCSA) by the Tourism Minister, But the thoughts are that it will unlikely be approved.

Phuket Sandbox Arrivals’ Forecast
11 JUNE: The Kasikorn Research Centre forecasted that the Phuket Sandbox Model will generate Between 550,000 and 1.2 million international Tourists Arrival in the Second half of 2021 as a best case scenario. The Centre has also forecasted that just 250,000 International Tourists Arrival will be the worst-case scenario. Read More: Nation Thailand
Thai Nationals Wont be Able to Stay in SQ From 1 July
11 JUNE: Thai Nationals returning to Thailand from the 1st of July 2021 won’t be able to stay at State Quarantine facilities. These Facilities have been operating since the Start of the Pandemic Thai Nationals Coming back from Overseas to Stay in Quarantine under the Government Expenses. From the 1st of July, they will close and Travelers will have to stay in ALQ or ASQ on their Own Expenses same as applied for foreigners. Read More: Bangkok Post
