Getting there

Getting to Chiang Mai is Easy and doesn’t require any effort, with a variety of travel options available. Chiang Mai has its own international Airport receiving Daily International and domestic Flights. If you will be arriving internationally to Bangkok, you can then take a domestic flight from Bangkok directly to Chiang Mai, taking about 1 hour.

If you are traveling from another City outside Thailand from southeast Asia, you will probably find a Direct flight to Chiang Mai international Airport without the need of connecting in Bangkok.

If you prefer to travel by train or Car, It’s also possible and recommended too. The way from Bangkok to Chiang Mai is full of attractions and interesting places to explore. However, it’s a long way, therefore it will require overnight in one of the cities between Bangkok and Chiang Mai such as Sukhothai or Lampang.
