Phuket has received a Total of 24,488 Tourists Since the Phuket Sandbox Model has started to be implemented on the 1st of July of the Current Year.
In July, The Total Number of arrivals Was 14,050 Tourists, and Since the Start of August till the 25th of August, The Total Number of Arrival is 14,438 Tourists.
The interest for joining the Model is increasing since the announcement for the Implementation of the Phuket Sandbox Extension, Which Allows the Tourists to Extend their Stay to Other Destinations in the South of Thailand after only 7 Nights from their Stay in Phuket.
The Immigration Bureau at the Royal Thai Police has announced Interesting Numbers regarding the Number of Tourists that are currently in Phuket, as of the 25th of August, There was 5,416 Tourists in Phuket.
The Bureau has also Highlighted in His Report The Top Nationalities that have entered Phuket under the Sandbox Model Starting from the 1st of July until the 25th of August, as per below:
1) USA (United States of America) – 3,272 Tourists
2) United Kingdom (UK) – 3,167 Tourists
3) Israel – 2,719 Tourists
4) Germany – 1,918 Tourists
5) France – 1,897 Tourists
