Phuket Sandbox Will keep Going On
Thailand’s Prime Minister Mr. Prayut Chan-o-cha , has confirmed that the Phuket Sandbox Model will keep going on, and that it has already Generated Total of 749 Million Thai Baht revenue as of the end of July 2021.

Phuket Sandbox Extension to Go on from Mid of August
The tourism Authority of Thailand has announced that Krabi and Phangnga Should reopen by Mid of August and that the Phuket Sandbox Extension Model Will be Applied by that Time. The Model Will allow Phuket Sandboxers to be able to move to one of these Provinces’ Sealed Route (Surat Thani, Krabi, and Phangnga), after Staying only for 7 Nights in SHA Plus Hotel in Phuket instead of the currently applied 14 Nights.

The TAT is expecting 1 Million International Arrivals in 2021, and at Least 10 Million in 2022
The TAT is expecting that Thailand will receive a Total of 1 Million international Arrivals in 2021, and Expecting 50 – 60 Million Domestic Trips. Total Tourism Revenue in 2021 may Drop to 625 Billion Thai Baht.

Lockdown Measures have been Extended in Thailand
It has been Announced that the Lockdown Measures in the Dark Red Zones in Thailand will remain for 2 Additional Weeks, and another 16 Provinces have also been clarified as Dark Red Zones. The Total of the red Zones in Thailand became 28 Provinces in addition to Bangkok, Representing around 40% of the Total Population. Curfew from 9:00 PM till 4:00 AM will be applied.
