Mahanakhon Bangkok, by King Power is a Skyscaper located in Silom District. It is considered to be one of the tallest Buildings in Thailand with 78 Floors and 314 meters height. The Building has been fully Constructed and Opened to the Public on December 2016.
Mahanakhon belongs to King Power Company. King Power is the Company that owns all the Duty frees in all the Airports in Thailand. Therefore, There is a very Big Duty free Located in there. However, The Building is not just Consisting of a Duty free and Redicences. It has a Sky Bar, Observation deck and A skywalk area attracting locals and tourists.
Reaching the Building is easy by the BTS Skytrain. It is located just 100 meters away from Chong Nonsi BTS Station, which is less than 2 minutes walk.
What to do at Mahanakhon?
SkyBar
The Sky Bar at Mahanakhon is an amazing Luxury experience that has to be tried. The Bar is Open for Lunch and Dinner. Lunch time is from 11:30 AM till 15:00 PM and the last order is on 14:30 PM. For the Dinner, it starts at 17:00 PM until 01:00 AM after midnight and the last order is on 22:15 PM.
You have to consider that there are 2 Hours in which the Bar is not Serving alcoholic Drinks nor food. These 2 Hours are from 15:00 till 17:00 PM. The Restaurant is Serving international Food Cuisine. The Dress Code is Smart Casual, Flip flops, Slippers or any unappropriated Clothes are not accepted to keep the Bar with its good environment.
Skywalk
One of the things that have to be done in Mahanakhon is to try the Skywalk Experience at the 78th Floor. This attraction is starting to become more and more Popular for Tourists since it has started to operate. The Skywalk is Open daily from 10:00 AM till 19:00 PM, and the last time for admission is at 18:30 PM. A very Good time to Experience the Sky walk is Before Sunset so You can Enjoy a Stunning 360 View of Bangkok from the 78th floor.

The Duty Free at Mahanakhon is the Largest King Power Duty free in Thailand. It consists of Many floors selling many Types of Products with big Variety. You will have to Pass through it anyway on your way out from the Building.
